As the Founder and Managing Partner of Sudduth Search, Jen has over two decades of experience in executive search, working for clients within the technology, industrial and manufacturing industries. She has completed assignments for a multitude of roles, ranging from Director to C-level, across finance, operations, sales and marketing functions.
After earning a degree in Psychology, Jen started her career as an entrepreneur, raising capital to build and grow a company at the age of twenty-five, then successfully exiting within a few years. A few months later, she started a second business and subsequently sold it as well. Her career as an entrepreneur instilled the “buck stops with me” mentality. She is a problem solver and an executor; moreover, Jen understands the change-maker mentality, and the type of person who succeeds in an entrepreneurial environment.
Prior to starting Sudduth Search, Jen was a Managing Director with Focus Search Partners, one of the only Private Equity backed executive search firms in the country. At FSP, Jen's specialty was executing multiple searches for Private Equity backed clients. In most situations, these clients were in major growth mode, or undergoing a strategic shift in their product/service offerings, or going public.
Prior to FSP, Jen was the Director of Talent for Enaxis Consulting, a management consulting firm recently acquired by Accenture that concentrated on the Energy Industry. In this role, Jen focused on recruiting, training, talent management and employee engagement and contributed to the tremendous growth of the company, helping the firm triple in size in just over four years.
Jen received a BS in Psychology from Texas Christian University and has a PHR certification (Professional in Human Resources). She also serves on the board of the Houston Association for Corporate Growth (M&A focused organization) and is the current Chair of the TCU Alumni Business Association.
