Hazel Kassu

Managing Director

Having been a long-time collaborator of Sudduth Search, Hazel comes to the firm as Managing Director. She is a true industry veteran with over 20 years of executive recruiting experience, placing candidates in sales, sales and operations management, and leadership roles in the information technology, engineering and administrative fields. She also has experience in human resources and marketing management. She is particularly versed in the downstream and industrials sector, and passionate about finding that right fit between the client and the candidate, and being a trusted advisor.

Prior to joining Sudduth Search, Hazel was president of BIC Recruiting, an executive search firm focused on energy. Hazel joined BIC Alliance in 2010 as an executive recruiter to help develop BIC Recruiting as a standalone business. She was promoted to director in 2013 and to president in 2016. She grew the business more than tenfold by increasing their service offerings and building a strong team of executive recruiters.

Hazel received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Emory University and is a Certified Personnel Consultant. She volunteers as a children’s small group leader at Clear Creek Community Church and is on the scholarship committee and a mentor with Lighthouse Christian Ministries.

Originally from England, Hazel now calls Houston home. She enjoys gardening, camping, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband, two grown children and their dogs.
