There is no question that the pandemic affected everyone in some way or another. But with the dust settled, I think we can all agree it brought unexpected opportunity—particularly for individuals in inside sales roles.
While in the past the role of inside sales centered around account management and customer service, that all changed with the Covid-19 emergency when leaders took a more blended sales approach. Outside sales began to feel a lot like inside sales as customer interactions became based in other mediums—phone, email and video calls.
